Here at Paragon, our first goal is to make sure every student is able to experience success. While our students must meet all Sunshine State Standards, we encourage them to explore in their own learning style so they are able to achieve their goals however they are most comfortable. All of our middle school students are required to take Reading (literature) and Language Arts (writing & grammar), Math, Science and Social Studies as part of the core curriculum. As a technology based school, all students also must enroll in a computer-based or computer learning course.

We also offer advanced placement math and physical education classes as well as small group, pull out tutoring to let your child’s true potential materialize. Not only are we able to target each student’s skill discrepancy in the classroom because of our restricted enrollment, but we are also able to offer skills reinforcement groups throughout the day. Although we would love to be able to help thousands of students at a time, we pride ourselves on being able to work with children individually and give them the time and attention most other schools are physically unable to give, due to the sheer volume of students in their classrooms. At Paragon we only accept a limited number of students so we can ensure each child‘s success..

Charter schools are public schools of choice . They are very popular—and among the fastest growing school options in Florida.

Charter schools are largely free to innovate, and often provide more effective programs and choice to diverse groups of students. Charter schools are generally exempt from the Florida K-20 Education Code (Ch. 1000-1013, F.S.), except those statutes specifically applying to charter schools; pertaining to the provision of services to students with disabilities; pertaining to civil rights; and pertaining to student health, safety, and welfare.”
