Thank you for your interest in Paragon Academy of Technology and Sunshine Elementary Charter School.

Sunshine Elementary Charter School, grades K-5, and Paragon Academy Middle School, grades 6, 7, and 8 are located on the same campus in Hollywood, Florida.  This allows our students to have a complete elementary and middle school education. Please fax the forms to (954) 925-0209 or email to .

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR.

As public charter schools, we are pleased to offer you a free educational choice. Our school has open enrollment policy and, since we have limited seats, it is best to complete the Student Registration Form below as soon as possible.

TRANSPORTATION

Please complete a Transportation Registration Form if you reside two (2) or more miles from the school.  We will then determine if your child is entitled to bus transportation.

NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST & LUNCH PROGRAM

To receive free or reduced-price meals (breakfast and lunch) please complete a Free and Reduced-Price Lunch Application and return it to the main office as soon as possible.  Of course, all meals are available for purchase.  Please be sure to set up a food account.  Visit the main office for more information.

MANDATORY UNIFORM POLICY

All Sunshine and Paragon students must wear uniforms.  We are now selling uniform shirts and jackets at school.  Pants, shorts, and skorts can be purchased at any retail store as long as they conform to our uniform requirements (basically, no “cargo” pants).  Please visit the main office to purchase or order shirts and jackets.  We now accept credit cards for your convenience.

Please remember, seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of applications exceeds the number of seats available, your child will be placed on a waiting list. A random lottery will be used to select students for seats as they become available.

We are pleased you have selected our schools and look forward to working with you. Please give the school a call if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Dr. Steven Montes
Principal
